Emerging Talent Competition

Hive Family Festival is proud to launch our Emerging Talent Competition, created to spotlight and support young performers aged 17 and under. This exciting opportunity gives rising artists the chance to take their first major step onto a professional festival stage and perform in front of a live family-friendly audience.

To enter, applicants are invited to submit a video performance featuring at least one verse and one chorus, along with information about the type of songs they would perform if selected. Entries can include original material or covers, but all content must be suitable for a family audience. Applications close on 30 March 2026, so early submission is encouraged.

All eligible entries will be reviewed by a judging panel, who will be looking for performance quality, originality, confidence, and suitability for Hive Family Festival. One winning act will be selected to open the Beehive stage (our main stage) on Saturday 8 August 2026, performing a 30-minute live set as the first act of the day.

In addition to this unforgettable performance opportunity, the winner will also receive a £100 cash prize. A parent or guardian must accompany performers on the day.
